To help alleviate the stress of moving, Reviews.com is offering a moving guide that incorporates 500 recent customer surveys and quotes from 20 moving companies. They looked for companies that can accommodate travel anywhere in the country, have helpful FAQ sections on their websites, a “painless” quote process (which typically takes about 10 minutes), and a readily available claims department.

“Moving is a pain, and even if you hire the best moving company, it’s no guarantee that it will be any less so,” Reviews.com notes in its guide. “But a great service will be friendly and efficient online, on the phone, and in person—and if it has a good track record of getting from point A to point B without a mishap, all the better.”

Rent prices in Denver remained the 13th most expensive in the country this October, as one bedrooms slid 1.5% to a median of $1,300, while two bedrooms similarly were down 2.2% to $1,770. Despite this trend, prices in the city are still up between 1-4% this past quarter depending on bedroom type. In terms of neighborhood pricing, asking rents this fall ranged between $700-$2,300 for a one bedroom. August 2018 Market Statistics Home Sales for Metro Denver

Greater Denver Metro home sales continued to slow slightly, which is typical for this time of year, especially after a strong summer selling season. Year to date, homes sales are down just one percent as compared to last year. Most notably, sellers continued to add new listings of homes for sale to the market—4 percent more than last month. That, combined with homes staying on the market about four days longer than last month, could give your buyers more options and more time to browse.
