Front loader washer rebate in Centennial

Southgate water district is a participant in the Denver Water rebate program, if you purchase a front loader washing machine from now until the end of the year you are eligible for a $150 rebate if you live in any of the areas served by Southgate. The rebate form does not list Southgate as one of the participant but we verified it with both Denver Water and Southgate that they will honor the rebate. (to list a few neighborhood they serve: Willow Creek, Walnut Hills, Greenwood Hills, The Preserve and many others..)
Front loaders use 75% less water compared with traditional washers and are another way of living green in your home and life.

Vacation Property 1031 Exchange Guidelines

Great News! The IRS will not challenge whether a vacation property qualifies for Section 1031 treatment if certain specified ownership and use requirements are met. The IRS has released Revenue Procedure 2008-16, which provides definite guidelines for a safe harbor vacation property 1031 exchange. To meet the safe harbor requirements, a taxpayer, during the 24 months prior to the sale of his or her vacation home, or within 24 months after the purchase of their vacation property as a 1031 replacement property, must: 1) Rent the property at fair market rent for a minimum of 14 days during each 12- month period of the 24-month period. 2) Limit personal use of the property during each 12-month period of the 24-month period not to exceed the greater of 14 days or 10 percent of the number of days the property is rented at a fair market rent during each of the two 12-month periods. Homebuyers Gaining Bargaining Power as Inventory Increases

Home values saw their smallest monthly increase since May 2012, up just 0.2 percent in January from December according to the latest Zillow Real Estate Market Reports. Year-over-year, U.S. home values rose 6.3 percent in January, down from peak gains of 7.1 percent in August 2013. This slowdown is in part due to the rise in inventory of for-sale homes across the country.
